Can stress cause liver problems?

I've been feeling generally unwell and tired, and my doctor mentioned my liver function was a bit off. I'm under a lot of personal stress these days. Can stress directly lead to liver problems?

Stress can definitely mess up your digestion and liver function over time. Instead of spending heavily on expensive treatments, start with simple changes like sleeping on time, eating simple ghar ka khana, and drinking enough water. If things don't improve, a basic LFT test at any local lab will cost very little and give you clarity.

Actually, yes yaar. When work stress gets too high, our eating habits go for a toss, which directly affects the liver. I had high ALT levels last year just due to bad sleep and stress. Please don't ignore it and get a doctor to check it once.

I had elevated liver enzymes last year due to extreme burnout. The most realistic solution is to cut out processed foods completely, avoid any alcohol, and practice deep breathing for 10 minutes daily. Make sure to get a follow-up blood test in 4 weeks to track your levels.

Managing my thyroid has taught me that metabolic stress can highly affect liver performance. It is very important to get regular blood profiles and keep in touch with your physician. Don't rely on self-diagnosis when it comes to vital organs.

Haan bilkul, stress ka asar hamare liver par padta hai kyunki hum theek se khate-peete nahi hain. Apni diet thodi saaf rakho aur dimaag ko thoda aaram do na. Ek baar achhe doc se consult bhi kar lena chahiye safety ke liye.

Yes, chronic stress increases liver inflammation. If your doctor clears you for exercise, try going for a 30-minute brisk walk daily. It really helps lower cortisol levels and aids liver detoxification naturally.

During my service years, I saw many colleagues develop liver issues during high-stress projects. It is a very common reaction of the body to prolonged tension. Rest assured, once you reduce your workload and eat simple food, the liver recovers beautifully.

A disturbed mind generates toxins that harm the liver. In my experience, practicing daily pranayama like Kapalbhati and Anulom Vilom very gently can help restore liver health and reduce mental stress. Please consult your physician along with practicing these.
