Can stress cause high liver enzymes?

My recent medical check-up revealed slightly high liver enzyme levels. I'm not on any heavy medication or drinking much. My doctor suggested it could be stress related. Is it possible for stress to cause high liver enzymes?

Honestly, I track all my stats on my smartwatch and health apps, and extreme stress definitely messes with your body metrics. Some studies on my feed showed stress can trigger inflammatory responses that affect liver function tests. Better to keep an eye on your sleep scores and get a proper blood test done to see what's actually happening.

Exam season always messes up my stomach and health big time. My doc told me extreme stress can actually raise these levels, especially if you are surviving on tea and instant noodles like me. Try to eat ghar ka khana for a few days and get it checked.

Hey, don't stress too much about this right now! High stress makes us eat junk and sleep less, which easily irritates the liver. Just take a deep breath, drink lots of water, and get a quick checkup done. It is usually something very manageable, trust me.

Please don't take liver reports lightly. I once ignored slightly high levels thinking it was just work stress, but it turned into a pretty bad liver infection that took months to heal. Go to a proper doctor and get an LFT and ultrasound done to rule out anything serious.

Dealing with PCOS has taught me how badly cortisol and stress hormones mess with our internal organs, including the liver. I had a slight elevation once during a very stressful month. I would suggest talking to a doctor rather than guessing, as hormonal balance is very tricky.

A warm cup of warm water with lemon in the morning and eating light home-cooked meals can help soothe your system. But liver issues are not something we should treat only with home remedies. If your enzymes are quite high, please consult a good doctor soon.
