Can stress bring on psoriasis?

My uncle has psoriasis, and I've noticed some red, flaky patches on my skin recently, especially with my high-stress job. Can stress really bring on conditions like psoriasis?

Haan na, stress triggers our immune system and can cause bad skin flare-ups. Whenever I am tensed, my skin gets very itchy and red patches appear. It is better to use a mild moisturizer and consult a skin specialist for proper medicine.

My daughter has psoriasis, and we have noticed that her patches flare up significantly right before her school exams. Stress is a major trigger for skin issues. Please ensure you seek advice from a good dermatologist to manage the symptoms properly.

I was looking this up recently and found out that stress releases certain chemicals that trigger an inflammatory response in the skin, which can definitely bring on psoriasis. It's fascinating how closely our mental peace affects our skin. Definitely worth seeing a doctor for.

Yes, stress is a well-documented trigger for psoriasis because it alters immune function and increases systemic inflammation. While maintaining a healthy lifestyle is beneficial, a certified dermatologist's clinical advice is essential for proper diagnosis and medical treatment.

With our busy work lives, stress-induced skin flare-ups are very common, but trying random creams will only waste time. Book a quick appointment with a dermatologist to get a targeted prescription. Managing stress through short breaks during work also helps.
