Can stress and anxiety cause a stroke?

My father had a stroke, and I'm currently under a lot of work and family pressure. I'm concerned if high levels of stress and anxiety can actually trigger a stroke.

Hey, please don't stress too much about this, reading online will only make you more anxious. While extreme tension can raise your blood pressure, a stroke usually has other medical causes behind it. Take a deep breath and go talk to a doc to clear your doubts.

Yes, chronic stress definitely contributes by raising blood pressure levels. Getting your BP checked regularly is the best way to prevent any major issues.

Let's be direct here. Chronic stress causes high blood pressure, which is a leading risk factor for stroke. If you or someone else experiences sudden numbness on one side of the face or slurred speech, go straight to an emergency room, do not delay.

Haan na, stress makes everything so much worse in our body. It increases your blood pressure silently, which is very dangerous. It is better to do regular health checkups and not take too much load on your mind.

Our body and mind are deeply connected, and carrying too much worry weakens our blood vessels over time. Stay positive, practice gentle meditation to keep your pressure normal, and make sure to consult a physician for regular checkups.

Sometimes when I am extremely anxious, my face feels a bit tingly and I immediately start panicking about a stroke. Has anyone else felt this kind of physical reaction to stress? It is honestly so terrifying to live with.
