Can strep cause stomach pain?

My little one has strep throat, and besides the sore throat, she's also complaining of a lot of stomach pain and feeling nauseous. I always thought strep was only about the throat. Can it cause stomach issues too?

Haan na, strep throat mein stomach pain hona actually kaafi common hai, especially bachon mein. Sometime hume lagta hai pet kharab hai par issue gale ka hota hai. Doctor ko dikhana hi sabse best option hai aise time pe.

It was so exhausting and stressful when my kid had strep and kept crying about severe stomach pain. I felt so helpless because I couldn't understand why a throat infection would hurt the tummy. If you are going through this, please know your pain is real and valid—just get a doctor to check it to ease the struggle.

Look, strep bacteria can easily cause swollen lymph nodes in the abdomen, which leads to stomach pain. Don't waste time trying to give digestion syrups or home cures. Just go to a clinic, get the throat swab done, and let the doctor give the proper medicine.

Yes, strep throat infections can present with abdominal pain, nausea, and vomiting, particularly in young children due to mesenteric lymphadenitis. Since stomach pain can overlap with other conditions, getting a professional clinical diagnosis and a throat culture is highly recommended.

I literally recovered from strep throat just last week and the stomach cramps were so bad on day two! I thought I ate something bad, but my doctor explained it was all connected to the strep infection. Once I started the prescribed antibiotics, both my throat and stomach felt much better.
