Can stomach ulcer cause stomach pain?

My doctor suspects I might have a stomach ulcer because of my persistent discomfort. I've been having this constant, burning pain in my stomach for a while. So, I want to confirm, is an ulcer definitely what's causing this stomach pain?

Yes, stomach ulcers are a major cause of burning stomach pain, especially on an empty stomach. I've read about this while managing my own digestive health. Please see a doctor to get an endoscopy or proper treatment instead of self-treating.

I ignored my burning stomach pain for months thinking it was just gas, until my ulcer bled and I had to be hospitalized. Please do not take this lightly. Go see a gastroenterologist immediately before it gets worse.

Stomach ulcers cause a classic burning pain in the upper abdomen, often worse when your stomach is empty. You'll need proper antacids or antibiotics if it's an H. pylori infection. Please visit a doctor to get the right prescription.
