Can stomach pain be a sign of heart attack?

My father has a history of heart problems, and sometimes he complains more about upper stomach pain than chest pain. We always get worried when this happens. Can stomach pain actually be a symptom of a heart attack?

I usually try warm ajwain water or ginger tea for stomach ache, but if the pain is in the upper stomach and feels like heavy squeezing, it can be a heart issue. Please don't waste time on home remedies in such cases; get medical help.

My father's cardiologist explained that atypical heart attacks, especially in diabetics and women, can present as epigastric pain or severe indigestion. If the stomach pain is accompanied by sweating or nausea, it requires immediate emergency evaluation.

My mother always says to drink warm buttermilk for stomach distress. However, if the pain is sudden and severe, please trust modern medicine first and visit a doctor immediately to rule out any cardiac issues.

I was reading some medical articles and found out that many people mistake heart attack symptoms for simple acidity because the pain is in the upper stomach area. It is actually quite scary, so it's always better to get checked.

An ECG at a local government hospital or clinic is very inexpensive and can quickly tell if it's a heart issue. Don't sit at home worrying about the cost of tests; getting checked early is much safer and cheaper than handling complications.

Usually stomach pain is just indigestion and some mint tea helps. But if the pain feels like a heavy weight on your chest or upper stomach, natural tips won't help. Please go to a hospital immediately for safety.

Beta, at our age, we must never ignore any sudden pain in the upper body. While warm water with cumin can settle normal gas, a doctor must examine you to ensure your heart is perfectly fine. Take care.

Having metabolic issues like PCOS makes me cautious about any unusual body symptoms. Upper stomach pressure can indeed be related to heart issues. It's always best to get a doctor's opinion rather than guessing.

Yes, upper abdominal pain can sometimes be a sign of a myocardial infarction. If you are also sweating, feeling dizzy, or having trouble breathing, please go to the emergency room immediately. Safety should be your first priority.
