Can stomach issues cause back pain?

I've been dealing with ongoing digestive problems for several months now, and quite recently, I developed a persistent ache in my lower back. I'm curious if there could be a connection between my stomach issues and this new back pain.

I was actually reading about this yesterday because my lower back was aching along with my stomach. Apparently, severe gas, bloating, or even ulcers can radiate pain to your back. It's quite fascinating but definitely check with a doctor if it persists.

Yes, absolutely. Conditions like severe acidity, gas, or gallstones can cause referred pain in the back. I always suggest keeping a food diary to see if certain foods trigger both, but do consult a physician to find the exact cause.

Beta, when the stomach is bloated with gas, it puts pressure on the spine and causes backache. Try drinking warm fennel water after meals to ease the digestion. But if the pain is severe, you must visit a doctor.

I just recovered from a bad bout of gastritis that had my upper back hurting for two weeks. I thought it was a muscle pull, but once the doctor treated my acidity, the back pain completely disappeared. Definitely check your digestion!

Before you spend thousands on expensive MRI scans for back pain, consult a general physician first. Sometimes it's just a simple gastric or acidity issue that can be cured with cheap antacids. Plan your medical consultations logically to save money.

I panicked so much thinking my backache was some kidney failure or nerve issue, but it was just severe bloating and gas. Once I lay down and took some basic digestion remedies, it got normal. Don't worry too much, just eat light.

Yes, gas pressure can easily make your back hurt. Drink lots of warm water and avoid heavy, spicy food for a few days to see if the back pain reduces. If it doesn't change, then go to a local clinic for a checkup.
