Can stomach issue cause chest pain?

I've been experiencing a lot of acidity and heartburn recently, and sometimes I feel a sharp pain in my chest too. My friends tell me it's probably just my stomach acting up. Can stomach issues really cause chest pain?

I once ignored severe chest pain thinking it was just acidity from a heavy lunch, and it turned out to be a serious medical emergency. Please do not assume it is just gas. Go get an ECG and chest checkup done immediately to rule out heart issues.

Bhai, acidity and gas can rise up and cause very bad pain in the chest, it happens to me often. But chest pain is a serious thing, so please go to a nearby doctor and show them once. Take care of yourself.

Yes, acid reflux and gas can cause sharp chest pain. However, please get a doctor's opinion to rule out any cardiac concerns safely.

Dealing with thyroid issues has taught me that stomach bloating can affect your chest area due to pressure and gas. But please don't self-diagnose. Go to your clinic and get regular tests and a doctor's evaluation to find the real cause.

Ah, the classic 'Is it gas or am I dying?' panic! Acid reflux can absolutely make your chest feel like it's on fire. Still, if you're feeling breathless, stop reading this and run to a doctor. Better safe than sorry!
