Can stomach cancer cause itchy skin?

My grandfather is currently undergoing treatment for stomach cancer, and he's also developed very itchy skin all over his body. We're confused if this is a side effect of his treatment or if stomach cancer itself can cause itchy skin.

Usually stomach issues just ruin my love for spicy street food, but skin itching sounds like something totally different. Unless it's some liver connection, it might just be an allergy. Better to check with a doctor than guess on the internet.

Itching can happen due to simple dry skin, liver issues, or allergies. Before jumping to scary conclusions like cancer, just visit a local skin doctor or a general physician first. They can easily do a blood test to see what is actually causing it.

Please keep your mind calm and stay positive, as fear often makes our physical symptoms feel much worse. Itchy skin is usually a very simple issue and rarely connected to anything severe. Take care of your health and let a doctor guide you gently.

My doctor mentioned that if a digestive system cancer spreads or blocks the bile ducts, it can cause jaundice and severe itching. But on its own, itchy skin is rarely the primary symptom of stomach cancer. Please consult a specialist for an accurate diagnosis.

I had terrible itching last year and immediately panicked thinking it was something serious. It turned out to be just a simple change in weather and some soap allergy. Don't worry too much, but definitely get a doctor to look at it.

We ignored my uncle's persistent itching and digestive complaints for months, thinking it was just a normal allergy, which later led to severe complications. Please do not delay. Go to a hospital and get a proper checkup done immediately.

My grandmother always tells us to apply coconut oil for any skin irritation, which is very soothing. However, if you are having stomach pain along with itching, it is best to trust a doctor and get a proper liver function test done.
