Can sperm buildup cause pain?

A friend was talking about how not ejaculating for a long time can cause 'sperm buildup' and lead to pain. Is this really a medical condition, or is it just a myth?

Actually yaar, there is no such medical thing as sperm 'overflow' pain because the body absorbs it naturally. But yeah, blue balls or pelvic muscle tension can cause a heavy feeling. If the pain is sharp though, don't sit on it, consult a doc.

Bro, honestly, if you stay aroused for a long time without releasing, you can get a dull ache down there. It has happened to me a couple of times. It usually goes away in a few hours, but if it's hurting constantly, you should probably get it checked.

Agree with others here. Gentle warm compression sometimes helps relieve the mild tension down there if it's just a temporary ache.

Don't stress yourself out too much, this is a very common worry. Usually, mild discomfort is just muscle congestion from arousal and goes away on its own. But if you see any swelling or feel severe pain, please go to a clinic immediately, okay?

At my age, I've realized that proper blood circulation is key for everything, and high stress or blood pressure can worsen any bodily ache. Make sure you are relaxing and living a healthy lifestyle. For any persistent pain down there, getting a clinical checkup is the safest route.

Sometimes stagnation of blood flow in the pelvic area from sitting all day causes a dull ache. A light walk or some light leg stretches can help with the circulation, provided you don't have any severe underlying pain or swelling. If walking makes it worse, stop and see a doctor.

Please don't believe people online saying random herbal drinks or exercises will cure testicle pain. Internet theories about 'sperm build up' are mostly myths. Go to a qualified urologist, get an ultrasound if they suggest, and find the real reason.

I had a similar scare and went straight to a specialist at Aster Medcity. The doctor explained clearly that sperm is constantly absorbed and doesn't just build up to cause pain; any real pain needs to be properly diagnosed to rule out infections. Don't hesitate to ask a doctor directly.
