Can sores in your nose be cancer?

I've had this small sore inside my nose for a few weeks now and it's not healing. My friend made a comment about 'not ignoring anything unusual'. Could something like a nose sore actually be a sign of cancer?

Arey na, don't jump to such scary conclusions! Mostly it is just a dry crust, a cold sore, or a small bacterial infection from picking or dry weather. Just apply a bit of coconut oil or vaseline, but if it doesn't go away for weeks, then show it to a doctor.

Oh God, searching symptoms online always leads to the worst thoughts! I get these painful tiny boils inside my nose when I eat too much hot and spicy street food in summers. It is usually just heat bumps, not cancer.

I stayed up till 3 AM googling a small bump in my nose and ended up writing my will. Seriously, don't do that to yourself. It is almost always just a harmless pimple or dry skin irritation from the AC.

My mother always tells me to apply a drop of pure ghee inside the nose if it is dry and bleeding due to heat. However, if the sore is hard, non-healing, and has been there for more than a month, you must consult an ENT doctor to be safe.

Any sore that doesn't heal for more than three to four weeks needs a proper evaluation. While it is usually just a simple infection, my neighbor ignored a persistent nose sore that turned out to be serious. Please get an ENT specialist's opinion.
