Can someone recover from stroke?

My mother recently suffered a stroke, and we are all very worried about her recovery. The doctors are doing their best, but it's a long process. Can someone fully recover from a stroke, or will there always be some lasting effects?

Yes, recovery is very much possible with early intervention. Just like I have to do regular blood tests for my thyroid to stay on track, stroke patients need consistent follow-ups and therapy. Never miss those doctor appointments.

Haan babu, hamare chacha ko bhi paralysis hua tha stroke se. Lekin humne unhe rojana thoda-thoda chalaya aur malish ki, ab woh bilkul apne peron par khade hote hain. Himmat mat harna kabhi.

Absolutely, physiotherapy makes a huge difference. Once the doctor clears them for light movement, starting with daily walking or basic stretches helps rebuild motor skills. Consistency is key here.

Keep faith and stay positive during this journey. The mind's willpower is very strong, and with good care and regular prayers, many people make wonderful recoveries. God bless you.

I am so relieved to read these stories. My grandfather was admitted yesterday, and I was very scared. Does anyone know if memory also comes back fully after recovery? Please let me know.

Haan, bilkul sahi baat hai, log recover hote hain. Mere padosi ko hua tha aur ab woh normal hain. Bas physiotherapy dhang se karwana aur thoda patience rakhna padega, haina.

My granddad had a mild stroke and recovered so well that he now runs faster than me to get the remote! It takes time, but the brain is surprisingly good at rewiring itself. Hang in there.

Diet plays a very quiet but important role in recovery. Keeping a low-salt, light vegetarian diet helps manage BP, which prevents future complications. Do discuss a proper meal plan with a nutritionist.

We got my uncle treated at a top neurology hospital, and the doctors laid out a very clear rehab schedule. Don't hesitate to ask your neurologist about the long-term prognosis and exact exercises needed. Clear communication with the medical team is vital.
