Can someone grow out of asthma?

My younger brother has had asthma since he was a small child, and it worries my parents a lot. He's 16 now, and we hope he won't have it forever. Do children ever grow out of asthma, or is it usually a lifelong condition?

I used to feel so left out and anxious as a kid because of my inhaler. Over time, the attacks became very rare, which was such a huge relief. It does get better for many people, so please don't lose hope.

Many kids do seem to grow out of it, but sometimes it can stay dormant and return later. Everyone's body behaves so differently. It's best to keep a check on triggers and consult a specialist rather than assuming it's permanently gone.

My childhood asthma faded as I got more active and started focusing on cardio and clean eating. Strengthening your respiratory muscles and managing inflammation through good food works wonders. Obviously, check with your trainer and doc first.

In our times, we saw many kids getting fine as they crossed their teenage years. Giving them warm milk with a pinch of haldi or tulsi leaves daily helps build strength from inside. But always keep their emergency medicine handy just in case.

Honestly, I used to get asthma attacks whenever I had too much cold ice cream as a kid. Now I can eat late-night kulfi without any trouble at all. I guess my body grew out of that extreme sensitivity thankfully!

We tried everything from daily steam to drinking warm pepper-honey water when I was small. While those little things helped manage the cough, what really helped was my immunity naturally improving as I grew older. Be patient with your body.

Looking back at my 70 years, I remember being a very weak, asthmatic boy who couldn't run. By the time I went to college, it had vanished completely. Have faith, the human body has its own way of healing as we age.

Yes, it happens very commonly. My brother had severe asthma till age 12, but now he is completely fine.
