Can smoking give you a heart attack?

My uncle had a heart attack recently, and he's been a heavy smoker his whole life. It's got me thinking about my own health. Can smoking really give you a heart attack, or are there other factors involved?

Yes, it really increases the risk of a heart attack by clogging the arteries. Honestly, instead of reaching out for a cigarette when you are stressed, try satisfying your mouth with some healthy snacks or some dark chocolate. Your heart will thank you for the delicious switch!

Smoking damages blood vessels and definitely leads to heart complications. Since I have thyroid issues, I have to be very careful with my lipid profile and heart health. Please get your cholesterol and heart tests done regularly and consult a doctor to keep things in check.

Haan na, smoking is extremely bad for the heart. It blocks the blood flow and can trigger a sudden heart attack. It's better to stay away from cigarettes and do some mild walking or yoga every day, ho na.

I suffered a mild heart attack last year, and the doctor told me point-blank that smoking was the primary cause. I quit that very day and started eating a low-salt diet. If you want to avoid the ICU, stop smoking immediately and start monitoring your blood pressure.

Absolutely, smoking significantly hikes heart attack risks by narrowing the arteries. If you have a busy corporate lifestyle, the stress combined with smoking is a ticking time bomb. Block just 15 minutes a day for cardio and quit smoking to save your heart.
