Can small cyst on ovary cause pain?

My ultrasound showed a small cyst on my ovary, and sometimes I get this dull ache in my lower abdomen. My gynecologist said it's small, but can even a tiny cyst cause pain like this?

Yes, even small cysts can cause a dull ache, especially during your periods. Drinking warm chamomile tea or applying a warm heating pad to your lower abdomen will help soothe the pain naturally.

I panicked so badly when my ultrasound showed a 3cm ovarian cyst and I was having pelvic pain. But my doctor assured me it was just a functional cyst that resolves on its own. The pain stopped after my next cycle.

Yes, it can cause pain, especially if it ruptures or causes mild torsion. I had a small cyst that ended up causing severe sudden pain, so please get an ultrasound done and consult your gynaecologist to keep an eye on it.

Oh absolutely, I feel a sharp pinch on one side of my hip every other month because of a small follicle cyst. Don't worry, it's super common, but keep track of the pain on a cycle app.

Even a small physiological cyst can cause localized discomfort or sharp twinges during ovulation. While most resolve naturally, having a professional evaluation by a gynaecologist is the best way to rule out any complications.

Yes, those tiny cysts can sometimes be surprisingly painful! Just rest up, use a hot water bag, and eat light food. It usually gets better on its own very soon.
