Can sleep paralysis touch you?

The other night I experienced sleep paralysis, and it felt like there was a presence in the room, almost like something touched my arm. It was very real and scary. I want to know, is it possible to actually feel touched during sleep paralysis, or was it just my mind playing tricks?

The feeling of being touched or pressed down is very common during sleep paralysis, but it is just a vivid hallucination. Extreme fatigue from underlying issues like thyroid can trigger this. Do get your levels checked regularly.

Those physical sensations are just sensory hallucinations, nothing is actually touching you. If you are planning to consult a specialist, you can find affordable sleep clinics or check government hospital rates to save on consultation fees.

Oh, that feeling is so terrifying, I used to stay awake for hours thinking some entity was in my room! But it is purely a medical hallucination called a tactile hallucination. You are completely safe, please don't worry.

It feels incredibly real, like someone is standing next to you or touching your chest. But don't worry, it is just your brain playing tricks during a sleep glitch. Try to keep your stress low.

True, it is just a sensory hallucination. Try sleeping on your side, it stopped the episodes for me.
