Can sleep deprivation cause nausea?

Terrible sleep for the last few weeks due to stress means I'm barely getting 3-4 hours a night. For the past two mornings, I've woken up feeling really nauseous and queasy. Can not sleeping enough actually make you feel sick to your stomach?

Yes, it can. When I went to Fortis for my physical, the doctor explained how sleep loss messes up gut motility, leading to acidity and nausea. I highly recommend asking your doctor clearly to find the exact cause.

Oh absolutely. Whenever I pull an all-nighter for my projects, I wake up with a super sour stomach and feel like throwing up. Drinking warm water and getting a solid 3-hour nap is the only thing that cures it for me.

Haan beta, jab hum dhang se sote nahi hain toh pet mein bohot garmi ban jati hai aur ulti jaisa lagta hai. Thoda thanda doodh piyo aur aaram karo, sab theek ho jayega. Apne sharir ko thoda aaram do.

Haan yaar, ye toh bilkul hota hai. Neend poori na ho toh acidity ho jati hai aur pure din jee ghabrata hai na. Thoda light khana khao aur ek baar doctor ko dikha lo agar zyada pareshani ho toh.

It definitely does because your digestive system needs sleep to function properly. When sleep is interrupted, gut hormones get disturbed. Try drinking some ginger tea to soothe the nausea and prioritize getting proper rest tonight.
