Can sleep apnea kill you?

My doctor suggested I might have sleep apnea because of my loud snoring and daytime tiredness. My family is really worried and someone even said it can be fatal. Is it true, can sleep apnea actually be life-threatening?

Please do not let fear take over your mind, as anxiety only makes breathing more difficult. While it is a serious condition that affects your heart and energy, staying positive and getting timely medical help will keep you safe. Take care of yourself.

Directly toh nahi, but haan, ignore karoge toh heart aur BP issues bahut badh jate hain na. Mere ek colleague ko severe snoring thi aur usne light liya, fir usko hospitalize hona pada. Doctor ko dikhana zaroori hai, isme risk mat lo.

It sounds really scary, I know, but don't panic. While untreated sleep apnea has serious risks like stroke, it is highly treatable with CPAP machines or lifestyle changes. Just book an appointment with a doctor and get it sorted out safely.

Sleeping on your side and doing daily pranayama helps a lot with mild breathing, but sleep apnea is not something to cure only with home remedies. If you stop breathing at night, it is a big emergency. Please consult a doctor immediately.

As someone managing high BP, I know that sleep apnea puts immense strain on your cardiovascular system, which can be dangerous over time. You must get your blood pressure and sleep monitored regularly. Lifestyle changes and a proper doctor's plan are non-negotiable here.

I just finished my treatment cycle and started using a CPAP machine three months ago. Honestly, my doctor told me it can be life-threatening if ignored for years because of oxygen drops. Now I sleep peacefully and my energy is completely back. Please get tested.

Please be very careful with this. I had severe undiagnosed sleep apnea and ended up with high blood pressure and extreme heart strain. It is a silent risk that you should absolutely not ignore. Go see a pulmonologist immediately.
