Can sleep apnea cause a heart attack?

My husband was recently diagnosed with severe sleep apnea, and now we're reading about all the potential complications. My biggest worry is his heart health. Can sleep apnea actually increase the risk of a heart attack?

Yes beta, when you stop breathing at night, it puts a lot of load on your heart. My neighbor suffered from this and the doctor said it is very dangerous for the heart. Please do not ignore heavy snoring and get a checkup done soon.

Yes, sleep apnea causes oxygen drops that severely strain your cardiovascular system over time. Along with proper medical treatment, maintaining a healthy weight and doing regular cardio like brisk walking can help reduce the strain on your heart, if your doctor permits.

Hey, don't stress too much! Yes, untreated sleep apnea is linked to heart issues, but once you get a proper diagnosis and treatment (like a CPAP machine), the risk goes down significantly. Just book an appointment with a doctor and get it sorted, bro.

I love eating heavy dinners, but my snoring was getting so bad that my doctor warned me about heart risks. Sleep apnea drops your blood oxygen and spikes your blood pressure at night. It's a real wake-up call to manage both diet and sleep!

Please learn from my mistake. I ignored my loud snoring and morning headaches for years, thinking it was just work stress, until I ended up in the cardiac ICU with a serious scare. Sleep apnea absolutely strains the heart, so please get checked immediately.

As if having regular daytime fatigue wasn't enough, now our sleep can try to kill us too! But jokes aside, yes, sleep apnea is very hard on the heart. Don't ignore it like I used to, get it checked out by a proper doctor.

Yes, it is extremely dangerous. My husband had untreated sleep apnea and it led to severe heart complications that we are still dealing with today. Please do not take this lightly, go see a specialist immediately before it causes irreversible damage.
