Can skin cancer look like a zit?

I have this stubborn 'zit' on my nose for months now, and it just doesn't behave like a normal pimple. It's a bit crusty sometimes. My cousin told me to get it checked out, because it might be something else. Can skin cancer look like a zit?

Yes, some skin cancers like basal cell carcinoma can start looking like a small, shiny pink zit that doesn't heal. If you want to check it, plan your budget for a dermatologist visit first, which might cost 500-1000 rupees. If they suggest a biopsy, ask for government lab options to keep costs low.

Yes, actually! Some minor skin cancers look just like a tiny red pimple or zit that refuse to pop or go away. Don't squeeze it or stress out too much, just get a quick checkup with a skin doctor to be absolutely sure. You got this!

Having PCOS, I get crazy hormonal zits all the time, so I completely understand the confusion. But if you have a 'pimple' that stays for more than a month, doesn't pus up, or bleeds easily, please get it checked. I never take chances with skin changes and prefer letting a doctor confirm.

We often think skin breakouts are just due to oily food or heat in the body, but that's not always true. While eating green veggies and drinking water is good for normal acne, a cancerous spot looking like a zit won't change with diet. If it persists, see a dermatologist.

I always blame my extra cheese burst pizzas for every single zit on my face! But honestly, if you have a stubborn 'zit' that has been sitting there for weeks and doesn't care about your acne creams, it could be something else. Better to get it checked by a professional.

Bhai, I actually had this weird pink bump on my shoulder that looked exactly like an annoying pimple. I tried popping it so many times but it just bled and stayed there. Finally went to a doc who checked it; luckily it was benign, but he warned me that basal cell cancer looks exactly like that.

Please do not ignore this or try to squeeze it. A skin spot that resembles a persistent pimple can sometimes be a sign of early-stage skin cancer, especially if it doesn't go away in a few weeks. It is always safest to visit a dermatologist and get a proper diagnosis immediately.
