Can skin cancer be light brown?

A new spot on my hand is light brown and doesn't look like my other moles. I'm worried about skin cancer. Can skin cancer appear as a light brown spot?

Honestly, don't try to guess it online. I always go to a proper dermatologist at a good hospital even for tiny spots because they have those special dermoscope cameras. It's much better to ask your doctor clearly and get a quick biopsy if they recommend it, just for peace of mind.

Haan, light brown spots also can sometimes be risky, na. Hum toh normal til samajh ke ignore kar dete hain. Safe side rehne ke liye ek baar skin specialist ko dikha lo, Google search se faltu tension badhti hai bas.

Bhaiya, hamare yahan log ispe dhyan nahi dete par ye light brown rang ka bhi ho sakta hai. Aap bilkul laparvahi mat kijiye. Kisi acche doctor ko dikha lijiye, bhagwan sab thik rakhenge.

Agree with everyone here, it definitely can be light brown. Just keep an eye on whether the borders are irregular or if the size is growing, and visit a doctor soon.

Actually, my own spot was just a light brown, flat patch that looked totally harmless. I got it checked only because it changed shape slightly over six months, and it turned out to be early-stage melanoma. Please get any new or changing brown spot evaluated by a professional immediately.

Look, with skin issues, self-diagnosis is a waste of time and highly risky. Book a quick 15-minute dermatologist consult over the weekend instead of tracking it yourself. Light brown patches can be benign, but only a doctor can verify it with a proper test.
