Can sinusitis cause asthma?

Chronic sinusitis has been my problem, and recently I've noticed I'm getting more breathless and wheezy, like I'm developing asthma. My neighbor told me there might be a link. Can sinusitis actually cause asthma symptoms?

Please get this checked. I ignored my chronic sinus issues for months thinking it was just a cold, and it eventually triggered severe breathing issues that the doctor said was asthma. Early treatment is key.

Don't go by what people claim on internet forums or try random home remedies. Sinusitis can trigger asthma symptoms because the airways are connected, but you must consult a pulmonologist to verify this.

Actually yaar, my cousin has this issue. Whenever his sinus flares up, his breathing gets super heavy. The airways are linked, so sinus issues can totally trigger asthma attacks.

In my 70 years, I have seen that chronic sinus issues and asthma often go hand-in-hand because the upper and lower airways are connected. Don't worry, with proper doctor's care and regular steam, it is manageable.

When I visited the specialist at Aster Medcity, he clearly explained that inflammation in the sinuses can worsen asthma. You should ask your doctor clearly about the connection in your case.

I have been having chronic sinusitis and lately, I feel a slight wheezing in my chest when I sleep. Has anyone else felt their breathing get tight because of sinus blocks? It's really scary.
