Can sinuses cause tooth pain?

A dull ache in my upper teeth has been bothering me, but my dentist couldn't find any issues. I also have chronic sinus problems. Can my sinuses actually be the cause of this tooth pain?

It definitely can because the sinus cavities sit right above the roots of your upper teeth. I always make sure to discuss these symptoms with my doctor during my regular health checks to rule out other issues.

I didn't know this was possible... I have a really bad cold right now and my top molars are aching so much. Does the tooth pain usually go away on its own once the cold gets better?

Whenever I get a bad sinus infection, my upper teeth feel extremely sensitive, almost like a cavity. In my case, once the sinus congestion clears up with steam, the tooth pain disappears completely.

I totally get it, that throbbing tooth pain during a sinus attack is so frustrating because you can't even chew properly. It really makes you feel miserable, but it's very common with sinus pressure.

Bro, don't stress too much! Your teeth are probably perfectly fine; it's just the sinus pressure pushing down on the roots. Just take some steam, relax, and see if it gets better in a day or two.
