Can sinus tachycardia cause heart attack?

My doctor recently mentioned I have sinus tachycardia, and I'm a bit worried. I wanted to ask if having sinus tachycardia means I'm at a higher risk of having a heart attack?

No need to panic! Sinus tachycardia just means your heart is beating faster than usual because of stress, coffee, or fever. It does not directly cause a heart attack, so take a deep breath and relax. 😊

I have been dealing with high blood pressure and rapid heart rates for years. Sinus tachycardia itself is just a physiological response, not a heart attack, but you should keep your BP checked and maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Oh god, even I get so scared when my heart starts racing suddenly. My doctor said it's just sinus tachycardia from my anxiety, but has anyone else felt like their chest gets heavy during these episodes?

My teenage son had this when he was down with a high fever. The doctor explained that it is a normal response of the body to stress or illness, not a heart attack, but told us to monitor his hydration.

Hello. Rest assured, sinus tachycardia is a normal rhythm, just a fast one. It is not a heart attack. However, if you ever feel severe chest pain, shortness of breath, or dizziness, please go to the hospital immediately.
