Yes, severe psoriasis can sometimes progress to psoriatic arthritis. My uncle kept telling me to apply traditional herbal pastes, but I trusted my doctor and went for proper tests. If you feel any joint pain or stiffness, especially in the morning, please consult a rheumatologist immediately.

I completely panicked when I first read about this online and thought my joint pain meant I was getting arthritis. But my doctor reassured me that while it can happen, early detection and regular monitoring keep it fully under control. Try to relax and just keep your doctor updated on any joint stiffness.

Yes, there is a strong link between severe skin psoriasis and joint arthritis. When I visited a specialist hospital, they told me that about 30% of psoriasis patients can develop this. You should ask your doctor clearly about the early warning signs to watch out for.

While keeping a healthy lifestyle and eating anti-inflammatory foods like turmeric can support your joints, severe psoriasis turning into arthritis is a serious medical condition. You cannot treat joint damage at home. Please see a doctor for a proper clinical assessment.

Yes, the systemic inflammation from severe psoriasis can affect your joints over time. I use health tracking apps to log my skin flare-ups and any joint morning stiffness so I can show the data to my physician. It's a great way to catch any changes early, so definitely keep track of your symptoms.

Dealing with autoimmune and inflammatory conditions like PCOS taught me that different health issues are often connected. Psoriasis can indeed progress to involve the joints. I would suggest keeping a symptom journal and discussing it with a doctor rather than trying to manage it yourself.

Beta, the heat in the body can spread from the skin to the bones. While gentle oil massage and warm water baths can help soothe the stiffness, severe joint pain requires proper doctor's medicine. Do not rely only on home cures for this.

Don't lose sleep over this, but yes, there is a connection you need to be aware of. Psoriasis can sometimes affect the joints. Just keep an eye out for any swelling in your fingers or toes, and if you notice anything, we will get it checked by a specialist. You are going to be fine.

Psoriatic arthritis is a real risk with severe psoriasis, and ignoring early joint aches can cause permanent damage. It is always safer to get a timely evaluation. Please schedule an appointment with a specialist just to be absolutely safe.

Haan babu, yeh chamdi ki bimari kabhi kabhi jodon ke dard mein badal jati hai. Isme bilkul dhaar na karein. Jaldi se acche doctor ko dikha lijiye taaki dard aage na badhe. Apna dhyan rakhiyega.

From what I see in clinical practice, severe skin psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis share the same inflammatory pathway. If you start feeling pain in your lower back or heels, don't just take pain relievers. Get a referral to a rheumatologist for a proper diagnosis.

My son has severe psoriasis, and his doctor warned us to always monitor his joints because of the risk of arthritis. We make sure he does light stretching and goes for regular checkups. If you are experiencing joint pain, please get it evaluated for your peace of mind.

I have severe scalp psoriasis and recently my knees have started aching slightly in the morning. I am so scared that it is turning into psoriatic arthritis. Did anyone else start with mild knee pain before getting diagnosed?

Please learn from my mistake. I ignored my stiff fingers for two years thinking it was just weakness, but it was actually psoriatic arthritis triggered by my skin psoriasis. Now I have joint damage. Please get it checked by a specialist the moment you feel even slight stiffness.
