Can second hand smoke cause cancer?

My father has been smoking for many years, and I'm often around him. My wife is very concerned about us being exposed to secondhand smoke. Does being around passive smoke really increase the risk of cancer for non-smokers?

Yes, absolutely, secondhand smoke is extremely dangerous, especially for children whose lungs are still developing. It contains the same toxic chemicals that the smoker inhales, which can lead to serious lung conditions and cancer. Please protect your family and keep them away from any smoking zones.

I already look like a zombie from lack of sleep, and now I have to worry about my neighbors' smoke too! Yes, passive smoking actually causes lung cancer because those toxic chemicals don't magically disappear in the air. Time to wear a mask or tell them to take it elsewhere!

I was reading about how bad passive smoking is, and it really scared me because my roommates smoke on the balcony. Can breathing in that smoke occasionally really cause cancer, or is it only dangerous if you are exposed to it every single day?

Breathing clean air is the most basic foundation of good health and pranayama. Secondhand smoke contains harmful toxins that pollute the lungs and can lead to cancer over time. Always seek out pure, smoke-free environments to protect your lifeforce.

As someone who has to manage diabetes carefully, I know that secondhand smoke can also increase insulin resistance and cardiovascular risks, on top of causing cancer. It is highly toxic for everyone. Please consult a doctor if you have been heavily exposed and feel any breathing issues.

Yaar, actually passive smoking is super dangerous. People think side-stream smoke harmless hai, but it actually has high levels of carcinogens that can cause cancer over time. If someone is smoking around you, just tell them to move away, health is priority.
