Can sciatica cause shoulder pain?

My sciatica is acting up again, mostly in my right leg. But lately, my right shoulder has also started aching without any clear reason. Is there any way sciatica can cause shoulder pain, or am I looking at two separate issues?

Hey, don't stress too much! Sciatica actually only affects the lower back and legs because of where the nerve is. If your shoulder is hurting, it might be due to bad posture while sitting or a separate neck issue. Just check with a doc, chill.

Bro, sciatica nerve starts in the lower back, so it won't directly cause shoulder pain. I had lower back issues and got shoulder pain just from limping and sitting weirdly. Get your whole posture and cervical spine checked out by a doctor.

Beta, jahan tak mujhe pata hai, sciatica ka dard niche pairon mein jata hai, kandhe mein nahi.

Man, if sciatica reached the shoulder, I wouldn't even be able to lift a plate of hot kebabs! Fortunately, the sciatic nerve stays down south. Your shoulder pain is likely from something else, so go get a checkup.
