Can sciatic pain be in both legs?

This horrible radiating pain from my lower back goes down both my legs, not just one. Everyone talks about sciatica affecting only one leg. Can sciatic pain actually be experienced in both legs at the same time?

Usually, sciatica affects only one side, but yes, bilateral sciatica can happen if there's central disc compression. If you feel any numbness or weakness in both legs, you should definitely consult an orthopedic specialist. Don't ignore bilateral symptoms.

Haan na, both legs mein pain hona thoda ajeeb lagta hai but it is possible. Mere chacha ko bhi dono legs mein heavy lagta tha because of lower back nerve compression. Doctor ko dikhana hi sahi rahega, self-treat mat karo.

I totally get it, having pain in even one leg is miserable, so both legs must be incredibly tough. It can definitely happen if the nerve root is compressed in the center of the spine. Please take care and don't hesitate to seek medical help.

Beta, sciatica pain can sometimes travel down both sides if there is a lot of strain on the lower back. Warm compress with a hot water bag might give you some temporary comfort. But do consult a proper doctor to understand why both legs are hurting.

Man, both legs hurting means even walking to the fridge for a midnight biryani run feels like a mountain task! But seriously, yes, bilateral pain can happen. Better get it checked so you can get back to enjoying life and food pain-free.

Listen, don't panic. While it usually affects one leg, central disc issues can make it feel like both legs are on fire. Just avoid bending forward and don't lift anything heavy at all. Let's get you checked by a doctor soon, okay?

You can try gentle stretching and sleeping with a pillow under your knees to ease the spine. But if both legs are hurting badly and you feel any numbness or loss of bladder control, please run to the doctor immediately. That needs urgent expert care.

My son had severe pain radiating down both his legs last year due to a sports injury that pressed his sciatica nerve. It was very stressful for us, but with proper doctor-guided physiotherapy, he recovered completely. Please get a professional opinion.

Yes, it can happen in both legs. I suggest booking an appointment with a neurologist or spine specialist to find the exact pressure point.

Haan yaara, dono legs mein bilkul ho sakta hai agar central disc herniation ho. Thoda mushkil hota hai chalna firna, hai na? Isliye zyada der khade mat raho aur turant ortho doctor se milo.
