Can saw palmetto help with erectile dysfunction?

Recently having some trouble with erectile dysfunction, which is quite distressing, a friend told me that saw palmetto might be helpful. Is there any truth to claims that saw palmetto can help with ED?

Beta, at this stage of life, I have realized that mental stress and blood circulation are the biggest factors for these issues. Saw palmetto is mostly for prostate health, and though it affects hormones, it is not a direct cure for ED. Don't feel shy, just go talk to a good urologist; they see hundreds of cases like this every day.

Bhai, if saw palmetto was a magic pill for ED, it would be selling like hot samosas everywhere! It is mainly for your prostate, not a performance booster. Save your money, eat some good badam, reduce your stress levels, and maybe talk to a real doctor instead of expecting miracles from random herbs.

Honestly, don't believe all these random herbal supplement claims you read online. Saw palmetto has very little scientific proof for helping with ED, and taking wrong hormonal herbs can actually mess up your system further. Skip the online forums and get a proper medical opinion from a doctor.

I know how stressful and embarrassing this can feel, and it really takes a toll on your mental health. But please don't start self-medicating with saw palmetto out of desperation. It might not even target the root cause of your issue, which could be stress or blood flow. Speaking to a healthcare professional will give you a clear, stress-free path forward.

I see this question a lot in our group. Saw palmetto mainly helps with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and urine flow, but it doesn't directly solve ED. Many times, simple pelvic exercises, reducing alcohol, and managing diabetes can make a huge difference. Please consult a specialist urologist for a proper plan.

I went down this exact road a few years ago and tried saw palmetto thinking it would help. It did absolutely nothing for my ED because my actual issue was high blood pressure and work stress. Once I fixed my lifestyle, started daily walks, and took the right medication prescribed by my doctor, things went back to normal. Focus on the root cause.
