Can sativa help you sleep?

I've been having trouble sleeping for a while now, and my friend suggested trying something called 'sativa' as a natural sleep aid. I'm a bit hesitant because I don't know much about it. Can sativa actually help you sleep better, or is it more for other things?

I know how frustrating sleepless nights can be and how desperate we get for a solution. Actually, Sativa is usually known to be energizing rather than sleep-inducing, so it might make your racing thoughts worse. Better to avoid it before bed.

My college-going son tried using different herbs for his exam stress and insomnia, but it only made him more active at night. Sativa is known to stimulate the mind, not calm it. Try warm milk with a pinch of nutmeg instead.

Bhai, Sativa is for daytime energy and focus, it will keep you wide awake. If you want sleep, Sativa is the wrong choice. Better to stick to a dark room, no screen time, and a regular sleep schedule.

Sativa is generally elevating, so it won't help you sleep. If your doctor allows, try adding a 30-minute evening walk or some light stretching to your routine. Physical tiredness is the most natural way to get deep sleep.

In my personal experience, Sativa actually gave me a massive head high and kept me awake planning random projects at 3 AM. It definitely did not help me sleep at all. Indica is what people usually recommend for rest, but check with a expert.
