Can salmonella cause vomiting?

Kal maine bahar ka khana khaya tha, and since morning I'm having a lot of vomiting and stomach pain. My friend suggested it could be salmonella. Is vomiting a common symptom for salmonella infection?

Oh, absolutely. I got salmonella food poisoning after eating some street food last year, and the vomiting was terrible. Make sure you drink lots of ORS and coconut water to stay hydrated.

Yes, it absolutely does! My love for half-boiled eggs landed me with Salmonella once, and I was throwing up non-stop for two days. It's a tough lesson to make sure your chicken and eggs are completely cooked!

Yes, my child, Salmonella is a severe infection that upsets the stomach fire, causing vomiting. Let your stomach rest, drink warm herbal water, but if the vomiting is continuous and you feel dizzy, please see a doctor.

Haan beta, Salmonella definitely causes vomiting, along with fever and stomach cramps. Don't try to eat heavy foods right now. Just focus on liquids like light khichdi water and let the infection pass.

Yes, it is a very common symptom. My mother always suggests drinking warm cumin water to soothe the stomach, but if you cannot keep any liquids down, you must visit a doctor immediately for proper treatment.
