Can red light therapy shrink thyroid nodules?

I have thyroid nodules, and my doctor is monitoring them. I've been seeing some natural health influencers talk about red light therapy for thyroid issues. Can red light therapy actually help to shrink thyroid nodules, or is that just a myth?

I was actually looking into this online because my cousin has nodules. There are some small studies showing it might help with thyroid inflammation, but nothing solid proves it can shrink nodules. It is a super interesting topic, but we definitely need more real human data before trusting it.

Please be very careful before shining any red light directly on your neck area. Thyroid nodules need proper monitoring through ultrasounds and blood tests by an endocrinologist. Don't try to self-treat this at home, as some nodules need biopsy to make sure they aren't serious.

For thyroid wellness, I usually suggest gentle yoga and a clean diet with proper iodine intake. Red light might have some modern benefits, but you should never rely on it for treating actual physical nodules. If your neck feels swollen or you have trouble swallowing, go see a specialist immediately.

Hey, don't worry too much, nodules are actually very common and often completely harmless. But please don't experiment with red light devices on your thyroid gland without a doctor's permission. Just get your regular thyroid panel tests done and let the professionals manage it safely.

I am big on staying active and keeping my metabolism high through daily walking and workouts, which helps thyroid function indirectly. While red light therapy is trendy, I doubt it can dissolve nodules on its own. Focus on your overall physical fitness and follow whatever plan your doctor has set for you.

I was also diagnosed with a small nodule recently and got so scared looking at options online. Has anyone actually tried using red light for this and did it make your neck feel warm or weird? I am too terrified to try anything without hearing from others.
