Can red light therapy cause cancer cells to grow?

My mother is a cancer survivor, and she's looking into different wellness treatments. She's interested in red light therapy for pain relief, but a friend warned her. Can red light therapy cause existing cancer cells to grow or trigger new ones?

Look, if you already have diagnosed cancer, you should strictly avoid putting any light therapy or active stimulation on that area without asking your oncologist. For a healthy person, it won't magically create or grow cancer cells. Don't self-treat active medical conditions, simple as that.

My dermatologist explained that while red light therapy promotes cell regeneration in healthy skin, its effect on active malignancies is still being studied. Because it increases blood flow and cellular activity, medical guidelines advise against using it directly over known tumor sites. Always consult your specialist if you have a history of cancer.

From what I have seen in clinical settings, red light is great for wound healing, but we never use it on patients with active skin cancers. It stimulates cell activity, which is good for normal skin but potentially risky for abnormal cells. If you have any suspicious moles, get them checked before starting any light therapy.

Hey, don't stress too much about this. For normal, everyday use on healthy skin, red light therapy is totally fine and won't cause cancer. But if you have any doubts or an active health condition, just run it by your doctor once to be completely safe.

I always believe in natural healing, like safe morning sunlight, which has worked wonders for my health. Modern gadgets like red light are fine, but we must use them with extreme caution. If you are dealing with any serious growth or tumor, skip these machines entirely and consult a proper hospital immediately.
