Can recurrent utis be a sign of ovarian cancer?

My sister has been getting recurring UTIs, almost every few months, and she's getting worried. Her gynecologist suggested checking for other causes. Can recurrent UTIs sometimes be a lesser-known sign of ovarian cancer, or is that unlikely?

UTIs are super common and usually just bacterial, but when they keep coming back, you shouldn't ignore it. Sometimes pelvic pressure from other issues can mimic those symptoms. Please see a good gynecologist to get a proper ultrasound done so you can be absolutely sure.

I went through this exact scare last year because my bladder felt weird constantly. Turns out it was just a stubborn E. coli infection and some pelvic floor tightness. Definitely get a culture test and an ultrasound done to put your mind at ease, it really helped me stop stressing.

It is so draining to constantly feel like your body is failing you, especially with the fear of something big. I spent weeks crying thinking the worst when I had constant pelvic discomfort. Please don't suffer alone, talk to a doctor and let them do the testing so you can get your peace of mind back.

Please try not to worry too much right now. Most of the time it is just a simple urinary track issue that takes time to clear. Just consult a doctor soon so they can guide you properly.

Actually high blood sugar can also cause recurrent UTIs because bacteria thrive on it. I had to learn this the hard way with my diabetes management. Please get your fasting blood sugar checked along with your routine gynac tests to see what is really going on.

My sleep has been a joke lately and reading stressful stuff online at 3 AM makes it worse. Don't let Google convince you that you have the worst disease ever. Just go see a doc, get some antibiotics or whatever they prescribe, and save yourself the midnight panic.

Honestly, searching symptoms online always leads us to the worst conclusions and creates so much panic. I totally understand why you are scared because I also lose sleep over these things. Take a deep breath and book a doctor appointment, mostly it is just a simple, treatable bladder issue.

My daughter had terrible recurrent UTIs last year and we were so worried about why they kept coming back. We went to a specialist who did a scan to rule everything out and it was just a hygiene and hydration issue. Get a professional checkup done, it is always the safest path.
