Can radiologist tell if it is cancer?

My wife recently had a scan, and we're waiting for the results, feeling quite anxious. I was wondering, when a radiologist looks at a scan, can they definitively tell if something is cancer or not, or do they just identify abnormalities?

They can definitely spot suspicious patterns or shadows, but a final confirmation needs more tests like a biopsy. Honestly, don't take any chances or wait. It is always safest to show the scan report to an oncologist immediately.

Yaar, radiologists can give a solid hint in their report, but they don't give the ultimate verdict. I remember reading my uncle's scan while eating some hot samosas and getting so tensed! Turns out only the main doctor can confirm after doing other tests, so better check with them directly.

A radiologist can see the signs and write their observations, but God has given us doctors to guide us further. Keep your mind calm and stay positive, everything will work out fine. Take the report to a specialist for a clear picture and proper peace of mind.

For normal coughs and stomach aches we can try turmeric milk and ginger ghar pe, but for scans we must trust the experts. A radiologist can only point out where the trouble is, not confirm the exact disease. Please go to a big hospital and consult a proper specialist right away.

Hey, please don't stress yourself out looking at the scan images. Radiologists can only highlight if something looks abnormal, they won't give a final cancer diagnosis. Just take a deep breath and let the main doctor handle this. We will get it sorted out step by step, okay?

No, they can't say 100% just from the scan. They only write 'suggestive of' or 'suspicious' in the report. You have to get a biopsy done to know for sure. Go straight to a specialist and don't waste time googling the report terms.

Radiologists use standard scoring systems like BI-RADS or LI-RADS to indicate the likelihood, but they don't provide a definitive diagnosis on their own. You really need an oncologist or specialist to correlate the imaging with clinical findings and maybe a biopsy. Please book an appointment with your consulting doctor to discuss the next steps.
