Can pvcs cause heart attack?

I've been diagnosed with PVCs (premature ventricular contractions), and sometimes I feel my heart skipping beats. My doctor said it's usually harmless, but I keep worrying. Can PVCs ever be severe enough to lead to a heart attack, or is that a different issue?

Premature ventricular contractions (PVCs) are basically extra heartbeats and they don't cause a heart attack, as heart attacks are caused by blocked arteries. Most of the time, mild PVCs are harmless and triggered by stress or caffeine. However, if you have frequent skipped beats along with dizziness or shortness of breath, please see a cardiologist for an ECG and Holter monitor.

I used to ignore my heart fluttering, thinking it was just gastric issues, until I ended up fainting in the office one day. Do not take any heart-related symptoms lightly or try to self-diagnose. Go get a proper cardiac workup done by a doctor immediately to make sure your heart muscle is healthy.

I get these scary heart palpitations sometimes because of my PCOS-related anxiety and hormonal fluctuations. My doctor reassured me that occasional extra beats are usually benign, but she still got a basic ECG done to be completely safe. It's always best to get a doctor's opinion rather than stressing yourself out online.

Please keep your mind calm and positive, as excessive worry and fear only make heart palpitations worse. Trust in God and take good care of your health by eating simple food and resting. Do visit a nice doctor to get yourself examined properly, so you can have complete peace of mind.

Arey haan, when the heart skips a beat, we get so scared thinking it is a heart attack, na? But actually, both are quite different things. Still, dil ka maamla hai, so don't take any chances and get a quick checkup done by a cardiologist just to be relaxed.

Since I manage diabetes, I have to be very careful with any heart symptoms like PVCs, as high blood sugar can impact blood vessels over time. Make sure you are maintaining normal blood pressure and check your electrolyte levels. Definitely consult your physician to evaluate these skipped beats properly.

In my experience, mild heart flutters are often exacerbated by high stress levels and poor breathing habits. Doing gentle pranayama like Anulom Vilom daily helps calm the nervous system beautifully. Of course, you must first consult your physician to rule out any organic heart issues before relying on yoga.
