Can putting your phone in your bra cause breast cancer?

My mother saw a forwarded message on WhatsApp saying that keeping your phone in your bra can cause breast cancer due to radiation. I often do this for convenience. Is there any actual scientific evidence that putting your phone in your bra can cause breast cancer?

Beta, in our times we didn't have these mobile phones, but now I see my daughters and nieces keeping their phones in their pockets and bags. There is no proof that it causes cancer, so don't worry too much. But as a habit, it is always better to keep electronics away from the body when not in use.

I have seen this question pop up many times in various health forums. Scientifically, there is no direct link between cell phone radiation and breast cancer. However, keeping a warm, sweating phone close to your skin can cause fungal infections or skin rashes, so it is best to carry it in your purse.

I accompanied my sister to a top oncologist at Apollo last year for a general checkup, and we asked this exact question. The doctor clearly said there is no scientific study proving that mobile RF waves cause breast cancer. Still, they advise keeping the phone in a bag or pocket to avoid unnecessary heat exposure.

Look, there is no need to panic about cancer from this, but honestly, why even keep it there? It is not a pocket, and the phone gets heated up which can cause skin irritation. Just buy a dress with pockets or carry a small purse, keep things simple and safe.

When you go out for your daily walks or jogging, it's tempting to slide the phone in your sports bra for convenience. But instead of risking sweat damage to the phone or skin rashes, get a cheap running armband or a waist pouch. Keeping your body active and free from heavy gear makes the workout much better!

Actually yaar, there is zero medical proof that phone signals cause cancer, so chill. But keeping a heavy phone there can cause posture issues or skin sweat rashes, which is super annoying. Better to just use your pockets or a bag, yaar.

I used to do this all the time at college when my jeans didn't have pockets, but my mom scolded me and made me stop. Don't worry, it won't give you cancer, but it's just not very hygienic with all the sweat and heat. I bought a small crossbody phone pouch and it's been a lifesaver.
