Can psoriasis make you tired?

Lately, I've been feeling constantly exhausted, even after a full night's sleep. My psoriasis has been flaring up a lot, and I'm wondering if there's a connection. Can psoriasis actually make you feel so tired all the time?

Psoriasis is a systemic inflammatory disease, which means your body is constantly in a state of high inflammation. That takes a massive toll on your energy levels and causes chronic fatigue. It's not just in your head, so make sure you tell your doctor about the fatigue.

Haan, bilkul thakan mehsoos hoti hai jab skin kharab hoti hai na. Body andar se fight kar rahi hoti hai aur raat ko itching ki wajah se neend bhi puri nahi hoti. Isliye fatigue hona bahut normal hai.

Oh, tell me about it! Between the itching keeping me up at night and my body fighting itself, I feel like a 90-year-old before my morning tea. It absolutely drains your energy. Just try to get some light rest and don't push yourself too hard on bad days.

Chronic fatigue is a known symptom of psoriasis due to the constant internal inflammation. If it is affecting your productivity at work, try to manage your schedule to allow for short breaks. Make sure to consult your specialist, as controlling the skin flare-ups will also help restore your energy.

I used to feel completely wiped out even after sleeping for eight hours when my psoriasis was flaring up badly. My doctor told me the body uses up a lot of energy dealing with the skin inflammation. Once my treatment started working, my energy levels went back to normal.

I completely understand how frustrating and scary it feels when you are constantly exhausted and don't know why. It is very common to feel drained when your body is dealing with active skin inflammation. Please be gentle with yourself, your body is working hard.

Yes, absolutely! Trying not to scratch your skin all day is a full-time job, and then you don't sleep at night because of the itch. It's a miracle I'm even functioning on coffee right now. Fatigue is very real with this.
