Can psoriasis?

My cousin was just diagnosed with psoriasis, and honestly, I don't know much about it. It sounds serious, and she's very worried. Can psoriasis actually lead to bigger problems?

Since I manage diabetes, I know that inflammation in the body affects both skin and sugar levels. Psoriasis is an autoimmune condition that causes rapid skin cell buildup. It's very important to keep a check on your diet and avoid highly inflammatory sugar-rich foods.

Psoriasis causes dry, itchy scales on the skin, ho na. It can be quite painful and irritating. It is always better to keep the skin moisturized with coconut oil and consult a skin specialist.
