Beta, in our times we relied on milk, paneer, and soaked almonds for strength. These modern synthetic powders can put extra pressure on your organs if used blindly. If you do use them, make sure to drink a glass of warm water with lemon daily to help naturally detoxify your system.

I can only speak from my own journey. I've been using whey protein for the last five years and my kidney function tests have always come back normal. I just make sure to get an annual health checkup done to keep track of my body.

I used to get so anxious reading articles online that I almost threw away my expensive protein tub. It's really stressful when you want to be fit but fear harming your body. In the end, my doctor reassured me that normal use is totally safe, which finally gave me peace of mind.

Please don't worry too much. If you are taking standard doses and have no existing health issues, protein powder is generally quite safe for your kidneys.

I had a scare last year when my creatinine shot up slightly, but it was just because I was severely dehydrated while lifting heavy and taking protein. The realistic fix is simple: limit your powder to 1 scoop a day, get most protein from food, and drink at least 3-4 liters of water daily.

Since I have diabetes, I have to be incredibly careful about my kidneys and what I eat. My diabetologist told me to avoid random protein powders because some have hidden sugars or additives that can strain the system. Always get your HbA1c and kidney panel checked first.

I always say that whole foods like moong dal, eggs, and chana are much safer for our organs than artificial powders. If you must use protein powder, balance it with cooling foods like sabja seeds or curd. However, if you ever feel a burning sensation when peeing or get severe back pain, go to a doctor immediately.

No, it doesn't cause kidney damage in healthy people. Just ensure you drink a good amount of water throughout the day.

Hey bro, protein powder is just processed milk whey, it's not a steroid or dangerous chemical. As long as you are working out regularly and not consuming crazy amounts like 3-4 scoops a day, your kidneys can easily process it.

Before spending 6000 rupees on a premium protein tub, it is better to spend 500 rupees on a basic kidney function lab test first. That way, you know for sure if your body is ready for it and you don't waste your hard-earned money or health.
