Can pot give you lung cancer?

I have friends who use 'pot' regularly, and they claim it's not as harmful as cigarettes. However, I've also heard that anything inhaled into the lungs can be risky. Can 'pot' give you lung cancer, similar to tobacco?

Smoking anything regularly is going to put a massive strain on your lungs and cardiovascular system. As someone managing high blood pressure, I know how crucial clean oxygen flow is for the body. Please avoid these habits and get regular medical checkups to monitor your lung health.

I had to sit down and have a serious talk with my college-going son about this because he thought it was safe. Burning any plant material still releases harmful tar and carcinogens into your lungs, which can lead to cancer. We must guide our children to protect their health.

While some try to argue that it is different from cigarettes, the scientific consensus is clear that inhaling cannabis smoke delivers many of the same combustion toxins to your lungs. This can damage lung tissue and increase cancer risks over time. Consulting a pulmonologist is the best way to understand the impact on your respiratory health.

I totally get it, there are so many myths out there making it seem like it is harmless, which makes it hard to know what is true. But the truth is that inhaling hot smoke of any kind damages your lung cells. Please take care of yourself and choose a healthy, smoke-free lifestyle.

Listen, don't stress too much, but it is really better to steer clear of smoking anything, yaara. Your lungs are meant for clean air, and putting smoke in there regularly is just asking for trouble down the road. Just focus on staying active and keeping your body healthy!
