Can pot give you a heart attack?

My friend, who occasionally uses 'pot', recently had some heart palpitations and is now worried. His doctor asked about his habits. Can 'pot' give you a heart attack, or is that rare?

I used to get such bad panic attacks and chest tightness whenever I smoked, and I was constantly convinced I was having a heart attack. It actually spikes your heart rate and blood pressure quite suddenly, which can be really dangerous if you have an underlying issue. Please be careful and talk to a doctor to check your heart health.

Do not believe forum posts claiming cannabis is completely safe for the heart. It causes an immediate increase in heart rate and myocardial oxygen demand, which can trigger cardiovascular events in vulnerable individuals. Consult a cardiologist for an accurate assessment rather than relying on internet myths.

Bro, if your heart starts racing like a sports car after smoking, that is your body telling you to slow down, not a sign of enlightenment! While a sudden panic heart rate is common, actually triggering a heart attack is a real risk if your cardiovascular health is already weak. Maybe stick to normal air for a change!

I have tried so many herbal remedies for stress, but anything that elevates your heart rate artificially can be risky for the heart. It is much safer to rely on natural lifestyle changes like a balanced diet and regular breathing exercises. Please prioritize your heart's safety above everything else.

Actually, yaar, it can really hike up your pulse rate like crazy within minutes of smoking. If someone already has BP issues or a weak heart, that sudden spike is super risky and can cause serious trouble. It is just not worth taking such a big risk with your heart, honestly.

Yes, it absolutely can. It increases your heart rate right after use, which puts extra stress on your cardiovascular system and can trigger a heart attack, especially if you have blockages. Stop risking your health and get a proper cardiac screening done.
