Can pleurisy pain come and go?

A few months ago, I had some chest pain and the doctor mentioned pleurisy. The pain went away, but sometimes it comes back for a day or two and then disappears again. Is it normal for pleurisy pain to come and go like that?

Hey, don't stress too much, it can definitely feel like it's coming and going, especially when you breathe deeply or change positions. Just rest up and keep a track of it. But if it gets too sharp, just call up your doc, okay?

Please do not ignore this even if the pain goes away temporarily. I once ignored a dull chest ache thinking it was gas, and it turned out to be a severe infection that took months to heal. Go to a doctor and get an X-ray or checkup done immediately.

Pleurisy pain is typically sharp and worsens during deep breathing, coughing, or sneezing, which can make it feel intermittent. Since it involves the lung lining, only a physician can accurately diagnose the underlying cause. A proper medical evaluation is definitely recommended here.

Suno, chest pain ke sath faltu risk nahi lene ka. Haan, pleurisy ka dard breathing ke hisab se kam ya zyada lag sakta hai, but self-diagnose mat karo. Sidhe jaakar doctor ko dikhao aur clear kar lo.

Yes, many people in the group have noticed that pleurisy pain fluctuates based on how they sit or breathe. Warm water steam sometimes helps soothe the chest thoda, but you must continue your doctor's prescribed treatment to cure it fully.

When you have pleurisy, your breathing muscles are under stress, so the pain naturally fluctuates with movement. Take a break from heavy lifting or cardio until you heal. Focus on a high-protein, clean diet to help your body recover faster, and let your doc guide you.

Ghar pe warm compress ya thoda haldi doodh lene se temporary relief mil sakta hai standard soreness mein. Lekin agar sharp chest pain ho ya breathing mein problem ho, toh koi gharelu nuskha kaam nahi karega. Please turant hospital jaakar checkup karayein.

Do not rely on online forums or random home remedies for lung-related issues. What feels like pleurisy coming and going could be something else entirely. Only a doctor with proper steth and scans can tell you what is actually happening.

I panicked so badly last year thinking it was a heart issue when the pain kept coming and going. Turned out to be mild pleurisy after a bad cold, and it resolved with standard meds. Take a deep breath, it is highly treatable once the doctor checks it.

Aww, chest discomfort is so annoying! 🥺 Yes, it can totally fluctuate when you change postures or take shallow breaths. Rest up well, sip some warm soup, and definitely visit your doc just to be super safe! 💕

I completely understand how exhausting and terrifying this can be, physically and mentally. The constant uncertainty of when the sharp pain will hit makes you so anxious. Give yourself grace, rest as much as you can, and let the doctors handle the medical side.

My son had this after a viral fever, and the pain would come suddenly when he sneezed or ran, then go away. We kept him warm, gave him light food, and completed the antibiotic course his pediatrician gave. Please monitor your symptoms carefully.

Look, intermittent chest pain is classic pleurisy, but it can easily mimic other serious issues. Don't waste time analyzing it on your own. Book an appointment, get your chest checked, and get back to your routine without the guesswork.

Does it also hurt right under the shoulder blades for anyone else? I feel the pain goes away when I lie flat but comes back when I sit up. Please tell me if this is normal or if I should go to the emergency room.
