Can plantar fasciitis cause back pain?

I've been dealing with plantar fasciitis for months, and now I'm also getting lower back pain that doesn't seem to go away. I'm wondering if these two could be connected. Can plantar fasciitis somehow affect my back?

I went to a specialist at Apollo for my foot issues, and they explained how an altered gait can misalign your hips and spine, causing lower back pain. You should definitely ask your doctor to evaluate your walking posture clearly during your next visit.

Haan, bilkul ho sakta hai na. Jab hum pair bacha ke chalte hain, toh poora pressure back aur kamar pe hi aata hai. Aap thoda soft footwear pehno ghar ke andar bhi, aaram milega.

It is so incredibly frustrating when foot pain starts affecting your lower back too, making you feel completely broken. I used to cry from the sheer exhaustion of not being able to walk or sit comfortably. Your pain is very real, please hang in there.

Managing my diabetes means I must watch my nerve health and joint pain closely. When my plantar fasciitis acted up, it threw off my posture and caused severe back stiffness. Along with checking your blood sugar, focus on wearing highly cushioned orthopedic shoes.

Yes, because our body functions as one single connected chain. When your feet lack proper support, your lower back has to absorb all the shock. Sending you warm wishes for a speedy recovery.

My son developed severe lower back stiffness because of his bad heel pain. We got him soft heel cups for his school shoes and made sure he did his back stretches every morning. It helped him immensely, so please take care of your feet.

I panicked thinking I had a herniated disc when my lower back started aching alongside my heels. My physio explained it was just muscle strain from my altered gait. Once I got proper insoles, both my heel and back pain vanished.

Paon ka dard kamar tak chala jata hai babu. Jab chalne ka dhang badalta hai toh peeth jabad jati hai. Thoda sarson ke tel se peeth aur talwo ki maalish kiya karo, aaram milega shareer ko.

An altered biomechanical alignment due to heel pain commonly leads to compensatory kinetic chain issues, affecting the lower back. While general stretches can provide temporary relief, getting a professional clinical diagnosis is the best way forward.

The entire body is connected from the soles of your feet to the crown of your head. Gentle practices like Tadasana and mild lower back twists can help restore balance and ease the strain. Listen to your body and move with awareness.
