Can plan b cause stomach pain?

I took Plan B yesterday, and now I'm having really bad stomach cramps and nausea. Is this a common side effect of the pill? Can Plan B cause significant stomach pain?

Yes, Plan B can cause stomach pain and severe bloating due to the high hormone levels. Take it easy on your heavy abdominal workouts for a day or two. Stick to light stretching and keep yourself hydrated.

I was reading up on this because my friend had terrible cramps after taking it. It turns out cramping and mild stomach ache are actually some of the most common side effects listed for Plan B. It usually goes away in a day or two.

Yes, it can cause stomach pain and nausea, that's completely normal for emergency pills. But look, if the pain becomes unbearable or if you start bleeding excessively, don't sit at home waiting. Go to a clinic and get it checked.

Yes, the sudden change in hormones can cause mild pelvic and stomach cramps. Try sitting in a comfortable position and practicing deep, slow breathing (pranayama) to relax the abdominal muscles. A warm water bag on your stomach will also help.

Cramping and abdominal pain are very standard side effects after taking Plan B. If you track your cycle, you'll probably notice your period might come a bit early or late too. If the stomach pain is extremely severe or sharp on one side, you should consult a doctor immediately.

My wife had to take it once and she was practically curled up with stomach cramps the whole day. Yes, it's a very common reaction to that heavy dose of hormones. Just buy a hot water bag and bear with it for a bit.
