Can piles cause loose stools?

I've been having issues with loose stools more frequently recently, along with my ongoing piles. I'm wondering if there's a connection between the two. Can piles cause loose stools?

Actually, piles themselves don't cause loose stools; usually, it's the other way around where chronic loose stools or diarrhea irritate and cause piles. I ignored my irregular bowel habits for too long and regretted it when my piles got severe. Please get a proper checkup done.

Hi! Piles don't usually cause loose stools, but having diarrhea can definitely trigger or irritate your piles. 🙈 Keep yourself hydrated and eat light, simple food like curd rice. Hope you feel better soon! 👍

Honestly, I am too tired to even think straight, but as far as I know, loose stools make piles hurt like crazy rather than causing them. Straining during loose motion is a nightmare. Go to a doctor and get some peace of mind, and some sleep too.

I have tried every home remedy under the sun. Piles don't cause loose motions, but if you have loose stools, the frequent bathroom trips will make your piles swell up. Try having some buttermilk with a pinch of jeera powder, but do see a doctor if it persists.

Hello dear. Piles generally don't cause loose stools. However, if you are taking laxatives or stool softeners for your piles, that might be causing the loose motions. It is always wise to discuss your dosage with your doctor.

My grandmother used to say that any disturbance in the stomach affects the bottom, but usually, loose stools irritate existing piles rather than causing them. I would recommend talking to a doctor to see why you have loose stools, as hydration is very important.

No, piles won't cause loose stools. But let me tell you, if you have loose stools, the constant wiping and acidity will make your piles burn like hell. Stick to simple khichdi, stop any laxatives you are taking, and consult your doctor.
