Can piles bleed?

I've noticed some blood when I use the washroom recently, and I suspect it might be due to piles. I'm wondering, do piles always bleed, or can they be present without any bleeding?

Yes, they absolutely can bleed, and it can be really scary to see it for the first time. I went through this last year because of extreme constipation. Just try to avoid straining at all costs and drink lots of water.

Haan, bleeding is actually very common with piles. I just got over this last month and seeing bright red blood in the commode freaked me out. My doc gave me some fiber supplements and a cream, and it stopped in a few days.

Oh absolutely, they bleed big time if you keep eating spicy biryani and don't drink water! I learned it the hard way. Now I have to balance my love for spicy food with lots of salads and water, otherwise the bleeding starts again.

Bro, it's super common. I had this during my exams because I was sitting all day and eating junk. Saw some blood and panicked, but my hostel warden told me it's just piles. Just eat some papaya and don't sit on the toilet for too long.

Yes, they can bleed when there is too much friction. I always suggest having high-fiber foods like oats, papaya, and plenty of buttermilk to keep stools soft. However, if the bleeding is heavy or doesn't stop, you must visit a doctor immediately.

I completely understand how terrifying it is to see blood, my anxiety went through the roof when it happened to me. But yes, piles do bleed quite often, especially when you pass hard stool. Take a deep breath, it is a very common symptom, but do consult a doctor to be sure.
