Can periods cause vomiting?

I've started experiencing nausea and vomiting with my periods lately, along with the usual cramps. My mother never had this, so I'm wondering if periods can suddenly start causing vomiting.

Yes, severe period cramps and hormonal changes can definitely cause vomiting for many women. It's quite common but very unpleasant.

Look, throwing up because of extreme period pain happens to many girls, but it's not something you should just ignore every month. Go to a good gynecologist and get a proper prescription to manage the pain and nausea safely.

Oh god, vomiting during periods is the absolute worst, it makes me feel so weak and anxious! It is usually caused by prostaglandins, but if you can't keep any liquids down, please watch out for dehydration and talk to a doctor.

As if the cramps and mood swings weren't enough, our bodies decide to add vomiting to the mix! Yes, it's a known symptom for some, but definitely check with a doctor if you are throwing up constantly. Life is too short to suffer like this.

Actually yaar, my sister used to throw up on her first day every single month because of the intense pain. It is super common but honestly so exhausting. She finally saw a gynecologist who gave her some pills, and now she is much better.

If you are diabetic and vomiting during your periods, you have to be extra careful because you can't keep your food or medications down, which can mess up your blood sugar. Please consult your physician immediately to manage your doses safely.

Yes, the chemical fluctuations during your cycle can irritate your digestive tract and cause nausea or vomiting. Try taking small sips of ginger tea and keep a hot bag on your stomach. If it happens every month, a doctor can prescribe a safe antiemetic.
