Can people with asthma get drafted?

I'm trying to get into the armed forces, but I have mild asthma that's mostly under control. I'm worried it might affect my chances. Can people with asthma get drafted or join the military services in India?

In physical military service, the breathing demands are extremely high. Regular practice of pranayama has helped many manage their asthma beautifully, but military medical boards usually reject candidates with active asthma due to safety risks. Keep practicing deep breathing for your own health.

No, active asthma is generally a disqualifying condition for combat or military service in India and most countries. The physical training is intense and dust can trigger life-threatening attacks. You won't clear the medical fitness criteria.

Haan na, military training is very tough and they have to run in dust and cold weather, which is bad for asthma. That's why medical exams are very strict about breathing issues, ho na. Better to look for desk job options.

It can be really heartbreaking when your dream of serving in the uniform gets cut short because of a chronic health issue like asthma. I know the feeling of rejection hurts, but please know that your safety and well-being come first.

Imagine trying to find your inhaler in the middle of a desert drill, sounds like a nightmare. No, they definitely won't draft you if you have active asthma. The military medical boards are notoriously strict about lung capacity.

I can't even climb two flights of stairs without wheezing these days, so the army would reject me in two seconds flat. Active asthma and military training just don't mix. It's better to stay safe at home and let the fully fit folks handle the heavy running.

Realistically, a history of asthma will fail you in any military physical selection process. It is a high-risk environment. Save your time and effort, and focus on building a career in corporate or civil services where medical rules are relaxed.

Nahi bhaiya, fauj mein bharti hone ke liye seena aur fefde dono bilkul thik chahiye hote hain. Agar asthma ki bimari hai toh woh log medically fit nahi maante. Lekin nirash mat ho, desh ki seva karne ke aur bhi bohot tarike hain.
